How a Gas Furnace Warms Your Home

Natural gas burns cleanly inside a metal heat exchanger. When your thermostat calls for heat, the flame enlarges, the exchanger glows, and my blower pushes warm air through your ducts and registers. No pilot light wasting gas—Ruud’s electronic ignition fires only when needed.
